My mother taught me how to love food — and also how to respect the ingredients. Throughout my childhood, I watched her be brave as she learned how to make dishes from other cultures just to make her children happy. I watched her be humble, as she dedicated herself to feeding the community. I inherited her wholesome, authentic style of cooking and every day, I strive to embody her memory.
Over the last 15 years, in between business calls and board meetings, I’ve spent countless hours developing hundreds of my own recipes, including easy healthy dinner recipes. Right now people need the comfort of coming together over food now more than ever — and yet to keep ourselves and others safe, we can’t do that in the way we‘re accustomed to.

Indian cuisine goes far beyond classic dishes like butter chicken and paneer, and I believe there is so much more breadth and depth to Indian food that has yet to be unveiled. Indian food is not just spicy; it's not just curries. It can also be made with simple ingredients that sit in your pantry. I want to demystify the spices and grains that are integral to Indian food and reintroduce them in a modern, innovative, and palatable way. It is a discovery journey for me as much as it is for you.
