Baked Buffalo Wings

Serves 2-4

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 package chicken wings

  • 3-4 tbsp Baking powder

  • 1 tbsp Salt

  • 1 cup Frank’s hot sauce, plus extra for fun!

  • 1 stick butter

  • Celery salt (optional)

  • Cayenne powder

  • Chili powder

  • Garlic powder

  • White wine vinegar

DIRECTIONS:

Wash chicken wings and pat dry. Toss in baking powder and salt and place on wire rack. Arrange the chicken wings on a wire rack which lays on top of a tray, allowing the chicken to drip as it cooks. Place in an oven at 250 degrees Fahrenheit (120C) for 30 minutes on a lower rack. Turn and place on a higher rack for 40-50 minutes at 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220C), rotating once halfway, until crispy brown on outside and cooked on the inside.

In a pan over medium heat, mix Frank’s, celery salt, cayenne, chili powder, garlic powder, and white wine vinegar. Add butter and combine all ingredients together. Once the wings are cooked through, take the chicken wings and toss in large bowl with the sauce until they're completely covered.

Serve with celery and blue cheese sauce. Enjoy!
